Memorial services for the late Mrs. Shirley Hashimoto, a Hawaii-born, Nisei resident of Gardena who passed away unexpectedly on March 21, 2013 will be held Saturday, April 6, 2013, 10:00 AM at Gardena Torrance Southern Baptist Church, 1457 W. 179th St., Gardena, CA 90248.The family requests aloha attire for the service and that flowers be omitted.
Mrs. Hashimoto was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hashimoto in 2009 and her son, Robert Jr in 1991.Beloved mother of Len Hashimoto; sister of Shigeji "Gag" (Ruth) Kogachi and June Burton, both of Hawaii and Masako Cornell of Florida.Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii, Washington, Arkansas and Florida.
