Shinobu Furuichi, 83, passed away in her son's home peacefully in Torrance, California on August 7,2025. She battled cancer for almost 3 years.  She was the owner of Sanyo Nursery in East Los Angeles for nearly 40 years. She loved the community and customers that turned into life long friendships. She is survived by her 2 sons. Richard and John. Daughter in laws Leslie and Sheryl. Grandchildren Tyler, Emi, Riki and Kamryn.  also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral & Interment service was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park Cemetery, Reverend Yuki Himeji officiating.
