Obituary
MR. SHIGERU TSUCHIYAMA, 91, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei, resident of Tarzana, founder of West Valley Nursery passed away peacefully on January 12, 2011 at Brentwood Health Care Center.
He is survived by his sons, Jon Alan and Steven Noboru Tsuchiyama; sister, Grace Yuriko (Tak) Murase and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, from 10:00AM – 11:00AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 27, from 10:00AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave., Los Angeles.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be made payable to "The UCLA Foundation", UCLA Medical Sciences Development, 10945 Le Conte Avenue, Suite 3132, Los Angeles, CA 90095, Attn: Rosemary Chiaverini.
