Funeral services for the late Shigeru Sato, 79-year-old Wilmington, Calif.-born resident of Seal Beach and Veteran of the Korean War who passed away on February 23 at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 11 a.m., at Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Yoshiko Sato; son, Randy Sato; daughters, Denise (John) Hudson, Sharon (Curt) Arakawa and Deann (Alan) Sechrest; and six grandchildren.
