Predeceased by beloved wife, Yoko Okumura, He is survived by children, Jean and her husband Shinji Yamaguchi and Eilene Oyama; grandchildren, Hasumi, Ayami, Nobumi and Yoshimi Yamaguchi; Megan, Austin and Amanda Oyama; brother-in-law, Junichi and his wife Misako and son Chad Araki, He is also survived by many relatives in Japan.
