Memorial services for the late Shigeru "Jim" Nakano, 87-year-old, Hawaii born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on May 1, 2013, will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2013, 4:00PM at Luminarias Restaurant, 3500 Ramona Blvd., Monterey, Park, CA.
He is survived by his wife, Helen Nakano; children, David (Mercedes), Ronald (Jennifer), Kimmi (Paolo Tostello) and Steve (Margarita) Nakano, and Cindy (David) Ige; step-son, Guy (Vera) Shishido; grandchildren, Nickolas, Tiffany, Sammi, Dana and Jamie Nakano, and Matthew Ige; step-grandchildren, Kyle Shishido, Lana (Bobby) Lee, and Jodi Shishido; siblings, Tsurue Toyoshima, Dorothy Carvalho, Margaret Martin, and Peggy, Masaru and Harry (Lily) Nakano; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
