Funeral service for Shigeru Fujiwara 73-year-old El Centro born resident of Laguna Beach who passed away on April 18, 2006 at his residence, will be held on Thursday, April 27 from 2:00 PM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Ruby Yuriye Fujiwawa; daughters, Gail Aiko Fujiwara, Jill Sumi (Noah) Han; sons, Mark Hayaichi (Jane Yamashiro) and Rodney Hachiro; sisters, Helen Yamamoto and Betty (Yoshinari) Tsukahara; brothers, Jack (Pat), Ike (Edna) and Mike (Jan) Fujiwara; many nieces, nephews and relatives.
