Obituary

Shigeo Saito was a Japanese Navy Pilot in WWII. During that time he was trained to fly a single seat rocket craft called the Ohka.
He was a Kamikaze Pilot.
Shigeo was a true warrior who survived against all odds and became a Christian minister who served the Japanese Community in Los Angeles. He was 81 years old. Shigeo spent his later years in Torrance, Calif.
His true passion in life was flying.
Shigeo is survived by his wife, Shigeno; daughter, Yuko; grandson, Ichiroh; and brother, Manabu in Japan.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, February 11, 11 a.m., at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., L.A., CA 90012.
