Memorial service for the late Shigemi Okada, 89-year-old, Compton born resident of Culver City, who passed away on April 9, 2015 will be held on Saturday, May 9, 1:00 pm at Venice Santa Monica Free Methodist Church. 4871 Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his loving wife, Yoshiye Okada; daughters, Judy (John) Kuratani and Rumiko (Ken) Nakayama; grandchildren, Karissa and Kendall Nakayama; sister, Yoshiko Jou of Japan; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
