Setsuyo Asari of Culver City, California, passed away at age 92 on October 31, 2013, in Camarillo. Predeceased by husband Yoshio Asari, she is survived by one daughter, Kayo Nakatani (Lloyd), and two sons: Yoichi John (Carol) and Shunji Asari; five grandchildren: Laura, Christine and Warren (Julie) Nakatani; David and Lisa Asari; four great grandchildren; two sisters: Tatsuyo Kobata and Mitsume Yamanishi; two sisters-in-law: Sumako and Mitsu Yamanishi; and one brother-in-law, Roy Murakami.
Funeral services and burial were held on November 9 at Green Hills Memorial Park.
