Family service for the late Setsuko May Hasegawa, 82-year-old, Maui, HI born resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on October 10, 2010 will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2:00 P.M. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd St., L.A.
She is survived by her husband, Hisaya Joe Hasegawa; son, Kyu Hasegawa (predeceased); daughters, Kayoko "Kay" Inohara (Predeceased Nobuo Inohara) and Chiemi (Bob) Watanabe; grandchildren, Kristin and Ryan Watanabe; siblings, Toshie Suda (predeceased), Kenichi (Sarah) Sato, Sandra "Sa" (Shigeru) Ishikawa, Hiroshi (Florence) Sato, and Akiyo (Takeo) Inouye; sister-in-law, Tazuko (Tsuyoshi) Okamoto; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
