Funeral service for the late Setsuka "Sam" Uyemura, 88-year-old, California born, Korean War veteran, resident of Gardena, who passed away peacefully on April 29, 2019 will be held on Saturday, May 18, 6 p.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166 ^th St., Gardena, CA.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Setsuko Uyemura; sons, Kenneth (Diane), Walter, and Glenn (Jacklyn) Uyemura grandchild, Wayne Uyemura; he is also survived by his brother, Shigeka (Chiwako) Uyemura, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
