Funeral service for the late Seichi "Sam" Shimizu, 92-year-old, Los Angeles -CA born resident, who passed away on Oct. 11, 2009, at Citrus Valley Medical Center, will be held on Fri. Oct. 16, 11:00 a.m. at Hompa Hongwaji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. First St., Los Angeles, CA.

He is survived by his wife, Ayako Shimizu; children, Donald (Joyce) Shimizu and Steve (Suzi) Shimizu; grandchildren, Keith, Jason, Ryan and Alyssa Shimizu; nephew, Clyde Matsui; grandniece, Lisa Nozawa; also, survived by other relatives here and in Japan
