Obituary
Shimizu, Scott Y., a craftsperson in the Motion Picture and Film Industry passed away on Tuesday, Feb 27 at the age of 44. Born Feb 21, 1963 in Los Angeles, a resident of West Los Angeles, and a member of Union Local 726 for 19 years.
He is survived by his father, Stan Shimizu of Las Vegas; mother Lorraine (Ernest) Kanenaka of Honolulu, Hawaii; sister, Teri Shimizu of Fullerton; brother, Curtis (Stacy) Shimizu of Hawthorne; nephew Fletcher Goetzinger of Fullerton; stepsisters Deanne Shey, Kimmie Morikawa; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins in California and Hawaii.
Services will be held Thursday, March 15 at 10:00am. at the Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, CA, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary (213)626-0441
