Private services for the late Mrs. Sayoko Shiroishi, 92-year-old Courtland, CA-born and long time resident of Monterey Park who passed away peacefully on February 24 at Keiro Nursing Home with her family by her side, were held on Sunday, March 11 at Gedatsu Church of America with Rev. Junzan Ishida and Rev. Kazuo Yamada officiating.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Hidemi Pat Shiroishi.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Jo Ann Shiroishi; son,
Allen (Uzuko) Shiroishi; grandsons, Patrick Takashi and Andrew Isao Shiroishi; brother, Dr. Joseph (Jean) Sakumura of Kansas; sister, Jeanette (George) Sato of Illinois; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
