Private graveside services for the late Sayoko Rose Nishida, 94-year-old, California born, resident of Northridge, who passed away on June 9, 2021, were held on Monday, June 21 at Evergreen Cemetery in Los Angeles.

She is predeceased by her husband, Minoru Nishida, son, Ronald Nishida; two brothers William and James Yasuda; and brother-in-law Masao Ota.

She is survived by her son, Gary (Pam) Nishida; grandchildren, Michael and Kristi Nishida;  brothers Henry (Helen) Yasuda and Bill (Kazuko) Yasuda; sister Betty (Ken) Murata; sister-in-law Kazuko (William) Yasuda,  Momo (James) Yasuda,  Atsuko (Masao) Ota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S and Japan.
