Funeral Services for the late Mrs. Sayoko Miyahata, a 94-year-old, Santa Maria, California-born Nisei resident of Gardena and former internee of Gila River Relocation Camp during WWII who peacefully passed away on July 17, 2014 will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2014 5:00 PM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, officiated by Rev. Alfred Tsuyuki, of Konko Church of Los Angeles.

Mrs. Miyahata was the beloved mother of Diane Nishiyama; proud grandmother of Darren M. Yip and Susan Nishiyama (Paul) Bright; loving great-grandmother of Breana Lynn Yip. Also survived by many nephews, nieces and other family members.
