Private family funeral service for Satsuki Abe (93), born in San Juan Bautista, CA and resident of Los Angeles, CA, who peacefully passed away on February 24, 2014, was held on Monday, March 3, 2014 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in The Garden" with Rev. Koshi Kuwahara officiating.

She is predeceased by her late husband, Shiyoji Abe and grandson, Christopher Ige. She is survived by son, Stephen (Jan) Abe; daughters, Carolyn (Danny) Hashiba, Doreen (Edwin) Ige, Lillian (Eiji) Takagi, Charlene (Ted) Elias, and Marlene Abe; grandchildren, Garrett Hashiba, Cheryl (Frank) Gonzalez, Kristin and Tamlyn Ige, Betsy Lynne Takagi, and Casey Abe; sisters, Sueyo Yamaguma, Sumiye (Art) Ogisaka, Asaye Hatai, Yukiye Hatai; sister-in-law, Sue Toyoshima; brother-in-law, Masami Nawata; also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
