Satoru Nakamura, 95 year old Lihue Hawaii born resident of Los Angeles passed away on October 26, 2011. Satoru was a World War II veteran and former first sergeant of Company B of the following units, 370th Engineers, later redesignated as 1399th Construction Engineers (Schofield Barracks, Hawaii), 442nd Infantry Regiment, 171st Infantry Battalion and 100th Infantry Battalion of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.

Satoru is survived by many family members in Hawaii.

To honor Satoru's wishes, there will be no formal services and his remains will be scattered at sea off the coast of Los Angeles County.
