Satoru Harvey Miya

October 14, 1946 – September 21, 2026

Satoru Harvey Miya, 79, born in Ogden, Utah, and a longtime resident of Torrance, California, passed away peacefully at UCI Health – Los Alamitos on September 21, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Noall Miya. He is survived by his brother, Lamont Miya; sister, Carolyn Terao; nephews, Alan (Lauren) Miya and Kevin (Stephanie) Terao; and niece, Kimberly (Rev. Kory) Quon.

A Family funeral service was held at Fukui Mortuary, officiated by Rev. Daiki Toho of Zenshuji Soto Mission, and followed by the burial service at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
