Funeral services for the late Sandra Kazumi Montufar Taise , 63-year-old, Los Angeles, CA born, resident of Monterey Park who passed away on May 23, 2013, was held on June 15, 2013 at Fukui Mortuary's "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. KarenFay Ramos-Young.
She is predeceased by her father, Hideharu Taise. She is survived by her husband, Byron Montufar; daughter, Alexan Monturfar Taise; mother, Hideko Rose Taise; sister, Claudia (Thomas) Summers; brother, Lenneth (Lynn) Taise; niece, Nikki Yamashiro; nephews Garrett (Jackie) and Kevin Taise; also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
Sandy loved to help people and loved to rescue animals. She will be missed for her quick wit and her beautiful smile.
