Obituary
Private family service for the late Dr. Sanbo S. Sakaguchi, 95-year-old, CA born resident of Granada Hills, who passed away on May 24, 2013, was held on Saturday, June 1 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden".
He had a medical practice for more than 55 years when he retired at the age of 89. He was a Captain in the US Army Medical Corp during the Korean War.
Predeceased by his wife Kazuko Kay Sakaguchi; he is survived by his siblings, Mary Oda, M.D. and Bo T. (Ikuyo) Sakaguchi, DDS; sisters-in-law, Martha Furuta, Etsuko Fukushima, and Grace (Yutaka) Shiraishi; and survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In lieu of koden, the family kindly requests donations be made in his memory to the Japanese American National Museum (100 N. Central Ave., L.A., CA 90012), JACCC (244 S. San Pedro St., L.A., CA 90012), the SFV-JACC (12953 Branford Street, Pacoima, CA 91331) or your favorite charity.
