Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Sakiko Irie, a 72 year-old, Tokyo, Japan-Born resident of Glendale who passed away on May 28 were held at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Rev. William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.


Mrs. Irie is survived by her husband Thomas Yasuo; sons, Andy Shinichi (Machiko) and David Kiyoshi (Melinda) Irie; grandsons, Brandon Kota, Timothy Yuichi, Jason Shohei, and Michael Shinzo Irie; granddaughters, Lauren Mayumi and Marguerite Terumi Irie; sisters, Yumi Asano and Yoko Suzuki, both of Japan.
