A private family funeral service for the late Mrs. Saeko Kubota, 92-year-old Bellingham, Wash-born Nisei resident of Arcadia who peacefully passed away on Dec. 12, was held on Tuesday, Dec. 22 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Alfred Tsuyuki of Konko Church officiating.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Dorothy Emiko (Steven Noboru) Tanaka and Diane Sachiko Rosedale; grandchildren, Cynthia Saeko (David) Ely, Stephanie (Eric) Hernandez, Kimberly Emiko (Matthew) Tsushima, David (Anne) Rosedale, Daniel (Debi) Rosedale, JoAnn (Rory) Rice, Janet (Lee) Salomon and John (Regina) Rosedale; brothers, Yoshio (Eunice) and Seiji (Fumiko) Yanari; also survived by nieces nephews and other relatives.
