Sadao "Sam" Kajikawa

Born May 29, 1919 in El Nido (Redondo Beach), California to father Goichi and mother Kinuyo. Passed away on December 7, 2018 in Torrance, California. Predeceased by beloved wife of 72 years, Sumiye "Minnie" Kajikawa. Survived by children: Akemi ( Frank ) Giovinazzo, Norman ( Barbara ) Kajikawa, and Frances ( Harry ) Fleming; Grandchildren: Nicole Giovinazzo, Courtney ( Brandon ) Oshiro, Kristen Kajikawa, Matthew Kajikawa, Allison Kajikawa, Isabella Kajikawa, and Nicholas Wong; Great Grandchildren: Lauren Stowe, Camden Bendik, Hailey Bendik, Alexandra Bendik, and Jace Kajikawa; Brother: Tadashi Kajikawa; Sister: Chieko Matsuo; Sister in law: Florence Kajikawa; Brother in law: Ben Yamamoto.

Public traditional service will be held on December 16, 2018 at 2:00pm at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA 90247.

The family is comforted in knowing that he is now with our mother, his beloved wife.
