Sadao Hashiguchi
December 24, 1917 - December 26, 2012
Sadao Hashiguchi, age 95, passed away on the morning of December 26, 2012. He was preceded in death by parents Teiji and Hide Hashiguchi; brothers Noboru, Tsugio, and Mitsuo Hashiguchi; and wife, Hisako. He was born in Los Angeles, California, was a World War II veteran and a member of the U.S. Army MIS. He was the senior produce manager for the Gelson's supermarket chain.
He leaves sister-in-law, Eva Hashiguchi; nephews and nieces, Gene Hashiguchi, Ellen Hashiguchi, Beverly Kerecman, Don Hashiguchi, and Mark Hashiguchi; and many grand nephews and nieces.
Funeral services will be held at the Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, telephone (213) 626-0441, on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. A public viewing will be held before the service at 10:00 a.m. Officiant will be The Reverend Mark Nakagawa of the Centenary United Methodist Church.
