Memorial services for the late Sadako Hayashida, 96-year-old, Hawaii born long time resident of Blanca, Colorado, who passed away on August 3, 2017, will be held on Friday, August 11, 2 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Marilynn Hikiji; grandchildren, Robert Charles (Lea) Chien, Paul Charles Shigeo (Teresa) Hikiji, Renee Akemi Hikiji (Adrian) Flores, Charles Mark Hayashida, and John David (Melissa) Hayashida; great-grandchildren, Nicole Beverly Chien, Gabe Elias, Christopher Hikiji, and Kelynn Antoinette Flores; Austin, Mackenzie, and Brayden Hayashida; sister, Haru Yutaka of Hawaii; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends here in Colorado, California, and in Hawaii.  In lieu of flowers and/or monetary blessings, the family would prefer donations be made towar d the Charley and Sadako Hayashida Memorial Scholarship fund, c/o Marilynn Hikiji, 3121 Palos Verdes Drive North, Palos Verdes Estates, CA 90274.
