Sachiko Ibusuki, 100-year-old San Francisco born Nisei, peacefully passed away at Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center.  She was raised in Santa Paula and a longtime resident of Los Angeles.

A private family service was held at Fukui Mortuary Chapel in the Garden.  Her final resting place is next to her beloved husband, Roy Ibusuki, and children, John Hiroshi and Sharon Setsuko at Forest Lawn Glendale.  A Celebration of Life was held at Hollywood Japanese Cultural Institute attended by family, friends, neighbors, fellow church members and co-workers.

Predeceased by her brothers Tokio Chida and Takeshi (Teresita) Chida, she is survived by children, Gary (Judy), Bruce Osamu, Clark Mikio (June), James Koji and Paul Masakazu; grandchildren Kristy Mariko (Eygner Artiga), Kent Mako; great-grandson Nathan Hiroshi Artiga; and other relatives.
