Saburo Nishikawa, a 96-year-old, Brawley, California-born Kibei-Nisei and former internee of Poston & Tule Lake Relocation Camps passed away peacefully on March 3, 2016. Saburo was predeceased by his wife, Mariko Mori-Nishikawa and his nephew Albert (Joyce) Kakita. He is survived by his sister Miyoko (Akira) Ikeda of Hiroshima, Japan; nephews, Kenneth (Carolyn) Kakita,Howard (Irene) Kakita, Allan(Charlotte) Kakita, Ronald (Kathy) Nishikawa and Edwin (Lani) Nishkawa; niece, Janet Tomomitsu and many other relatives both here and in Japan.
Funeral services were held privately, officiated by Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
