Private service for the late Ruth Mariko Sakurai, age 78, Santa Maria-CA born, resident of Huntington Beach, who passed away on Aug. 2, 2015, was held on Saturday, Aug. 22, at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Marvin Harada of Orange County Buddhist Church officiating.

The deceased is survived by her husband Tamio Sakurai; son, Russ Hiroshi (Martina) Sakurai; grandson, Kevin Kohdai Sakurai; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
