Ruth was born on September 18, 1925 and grew up in Hollywood, California. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert.

Ruth worked as a secretary for the State Department of Highways and City View Hospital.  She later assisted in her husband's CPA office.

In their spare time with a growing family, they enjoyed going on annual camping trips, often taking their nieces and nephews with them. Ruth, Robert and Jane enjoyed travelling and went to Europe and Asia many times.

In 2017, Ruth's health declined and she needed more care so she moved to an assisted living facility in Torrance California, where she was well-cared for until she passed away peacefully with her family at her side.

Ruth is survived by her children: Dean (Sandie) Mochinaga, Jane Mochinaga, Norman (Sandi) Mochinaga, grandchildren: Dena (Sean), Scott (Jayme) and Brent of Hawaii and Christie and Eric of California and great-grandchildren: Nanea, Kaimana, Amaya and Emi, and many nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held.  Our family requests that no koden, flowers or gifts be given.  Our family thanks you for all your kind expressions of love and sympathy during this time.
