HIRATA, Russell Koichi; Russell or "Ko" as he is known to his Pre-war friends was born in Lomita, Ca on August 24, 1920. beloved father of Ronny and Janet (Hans)Almqvist; grandfather of Chanel, Christian, Hanna and Mikey Almqvist; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in WA, NJ, Co and Japan.
Funeral services will be held on May 13, 2006, 11:30 A.M. at Montebello Sozenji Buddhist Temple, 3020 W. Beverly Blvd., Montebello, CA.
