Private memorial services for the late Mrs. Ruby Sumiko Okubo, an 84 year-old, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away on June 16 were held at Inglewood Cemetery Grace Chapel officiated by Rev. Gail Messner of West Los Angeles United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her siblings, Helen Sachiko (Roger) Nishida, Jim Shoji (Brenda) Okubo and Jane Kazuko Okubo. Also survived by 6 nephews, 5 nieces and many other relatives.
