Private graveside service for Ruby Kitahara, 76 year-old Imperial Valley born Nisei, resident of Whittier who passed away on May 24 at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital was held on May 31 with Rev. Sam Tonomura of JEMS officiating.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Norman Kitahara; sons Terry (Karin) Kitahara and Chris (Heidi) Kitahara; daughter, Sharon (Jerry) Perez; five grandchildren; sisters Shiz Morita, Aya Yawata, Amy (Joe) Murakami and many other relatives.
