A memorial service for the late Roy Keiji Tanikawa, a Honolulu, Hawaii-born Sansei resident of Irvine who passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at his home. Jean, his wife of 51 years, and his 3 children and loving family members were with him when he died.

Roy was a great mentor and teacher to many. He was a VFW and then OCBC girls basketball coach for over 20 years. He loved to compete, and especially loved running marathons and golfing. Most of all, he loved spending time with his friends. With that, we welcome friends and family to come help us celebrate his life.

A memorial service will be held on Friday August 7, 2015 11:00 AM at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA 92804. The family requests aloha attire please.
