Private family funeral services for the late Roy Takeshi Takeda, 76 year old Seattle, Washington born resident of Encino, who passed away on June 21, 2009 were held on June 28, 2009 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Rev. Shuichi Kurai, of Sozenji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Roy is survived by loving wife Sayuri Takeda; son, Terry (partner, Lou Slimp) Takeda and Todd (Jamie) Takeda; daughter, Sharlene (Glenn) Miyagishima; grandchildren, Trent and Tyler Miyagishima, Trinity and Destiny Takeda; sister, Mary (Lincoln) Nagato. Roy is also survived by many other loving family members.
