Private memorial services for the late Mr. Rowland Toshi Kumamoto, 66-year-old, born Pasadena, resident of Redondo Beach, who passed away on March 27, were held on May 1 at

Rose Hills Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa,

West District Superintendent at the West District, California-Pacific Conference, The United Methodist Church Los Angeles.

He is survived by his children, Emiko (Jason) Lippen of Texas, Amanda Kumamoto of Illinois, and Cameron Kumamoto; grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Landen Lippen of Texas; sisters, Audrey Nimura, Megumi Tsushima, Shelley (Jeff) Lund of Colorado, and Serena (John) Griffith; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives in California, New York, Colorado, the United Kingdom, and Japan.
