Rose Fusako Murakami, 99-years old, passed away peacefully at home, October 5, 2018.  Born in Honuapo, Hawaii, she moved to Los Angeles in her early twenties. After being interned at Heart Mountain and Amachi, she returned to Los Angeles with a family.  She and her family moved to Gardena in the fifties, where she resided until her death. She was predeceased by her husband, Shigeo Bill Murakami.  She is survived by her children, Marlene, Daniel (Terri), Terry (Chuck) and Andrew (Cheryl), 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel In The Garden" 707 East Temple Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 on Sunday, October 28, at 1:00.  Casual Hawaiian attire.  No flowers, please.
