Private family services were held for the late Mrs. Rose Chizuko Makita, 99 year-old, Rialto, CA born, Nisei resident of Monterey Park who passed away peacefully on October 17, 2015 were held on Sunday, October 25th at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. KarenFay Ramos-Young of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
Rose is predeceased by her son Norio Makita and she is survived by her loving family, children, Gary (Yukiko) Makita, Mayumi (Yukihide) Morita, Yoshihisa (Kiyoko) Makita; daughter-in-law, Keiko Makita of Japan; grandchildren, June (David) Makita Hayes, Sachi (Anthony) Salazar, Eugene (Shauna) and Brian (Amanda) Morita and Jeffrey (Susie) Makita the latter is of WA, Tricia (Dennis) Kwan of San Francisco, and Connie Makita of NY; sister-in-law, Cibyl Kumagai of WA; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
