Funeral services for the late Mrs. Rose Kobata, 92 year-old, York, Utah born resident of Gardena who passed away peacefully on January 31, 2015 will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 10:00 AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 West 158th St., Gardena with Pastor Rodney Tanaka officiating.

She is survived by her loving family; children, Dennis (Jan Tokumaru) Kobata and Frances (Dave) Fujii of CA; step-children, JoAnn King of IL and Margaret (George) Petersson of PA; grandchildren, Yoshi Kobata of IL, Jonathan (Miki) Fujii of CA, Alison (Chris) Merimee of WA; ten great-grandchildren; siblings, Reiko (Harold) Kobata, John Hagio and Joyce (Chisato) Kubo of CA, Frank (Lolita) Hagio of UT and Kathleen (Tak) Ishii of CA; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
