Rodney Clark Shemick, 57 , son of John and Elizabeth Shemick, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2007, at his home in Los Angeles. Rod was raised in West LA and was a diligent student, always interested in the sciences. As a boy, Rod enjoyed exotic pets and owned pigeons, a porcupine, and piranha fish. After graduating from Venice High School in 1967, Rod attended UCLA then went on to professional school at the College of Pharmacy, University of Utah. Rod spent the majority of his career working as a clinical pharmacist in the hospital setting. Rodney enjoyed a lifelong love of photography and took many beautiful photos. He also enjoyed bowling, fishing, and was an avid coin collector. He is survived by his father Jack Shemick, 86, and 2 brothers, a sister, numerous friends and coworkers
