Private memorial services for the late Rodney B. Hirano, 66-year-old, Hawaii born resident of Gardena, who passed away on May 24, 2016, were held on Saturday, May 28 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Sally L. Hirano; he is survived by his son, Randall Hirano; sisters, Wendy Hirano and Lana (Marvin) Takaki; nephew, Troy (Lori) Takaki; nieces,Trish (Keita) Kadono, Taryn (Jason) Shimizu, and Torie Takaki.
