Riuso Mac Makihara passed away at the age of 90 on October 26, 2006. He is survived by wife Fumiko; children Margaret (Joe), Glenn Takao, Jeanne (Steve), and Joyce (Jon); grandchildren Daryl, Janette, Mark, Kimberly, and Kaia; sister Yukimi and other relatives.

A private service was held Saturday, November 4th , under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
