Private family graveside services for the late Ritsuye "Rits" Matsumoto, 97-year-old, California born, resident of Pasadena, who passed away on November 30, 2024, were held on Saturday, December 21 at Mountain View Cemetery in Altadena.

Predeceased by her husband, Akira "Chop" Matsumoto; she is survived by her children, Tom (Linda), Jane, Rick (Michi), Joy (Scott Bell) and Bill Matsumoto; grandchildren, Scott (Yuki) and Kevin (Elsa) Matsumoto, Kelli (Alex) Esparza, Lauren (Ben Fong) and Steven Matsumoto, and Tim (Alissa), Derek and Matthew Bell; great-grandchildren, Ryden, Ayu and Emi Matsumoto; step great-grandchild, Cece Fernandez-Siluano; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
