Obituary
Richard "Rosy" Ichiro Maruoka, 83, a Hawaii born Nisei veteran passed away peacefully at his residence in Gardena on April 29, 2012.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice K. Shigeta Maruoka; sons, Richard K. (Jane F) Maruoka of Long Beach, Mark K. (Therese) Maruoka, of Sterling, VA; daughter, Romi K. Maruoka of Gardena; granddaughter, Madison K. Maruoka of Sterling, VA; sister, Jane Y. Ohinata of Honolulu, HI; and other relatives.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 West 182nd St., Torrance, CA. with Pastor Paul Nakamura of Lutheran Oriental Church officiating. Family requests casual attire, and no flowers.
