Funeral services for the late Mr. Richard Isamu Higashi, 91 year-old, Long Beach, CA born Nisei resident of Gardena, who passed away peacefully on September 21, 2017, will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2:00 PM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166 ^th St., Gardena, CA 90247.

He is survived by his loving family; children, Robert (Michelle) Higashi, Joan (Byron) Kanemaru, Steven (Penny) Higashi and Paul Higashi; grandchildren, Scott and Karee Higashi, Kelly, Jessica and Dana Kanemaru, Jodi, Madison and Conner Higashi; brother, Alfred (Hazel) Higashi; sister-in-law, Jeanne Higashi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
