Private funeral services for the late Richard Kazuo Atagi, 82 year old, Stockton, California-born Nisei resident of Hacienda Heights and proud veteran of the United States Army who passed away on November 1, were held at Mountain View Cemetery "Sunrise Chapel", officiated by Rev. Lee Rosenthal of Pasadena Buddhist Temple.

Beloved father of Keith Kazumi (Emiko) Atagi and Laurie Atagi (Keith) Hall; grandfather of Kazuki and Yousuke Atagi; brother of June Seo, Merry (Lou) Nakagawa and Dolly (Yosh) Miya, all of Utah, Virginia (Tom) Fujishin, and Betty (Art) Fujinaka of Hawaii. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
