Reynold T. Hayashibara, 79, of Hacienda Heights passed away on February 19th. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Shizuko, children Teri and Todd, grandson Kyle, sisters Ruth, Doris and Betty, nieces and nephews.
He was born in Laie, Hawaii and spent his early years growing up in rural Oahu. He received an honorable discharge from the US Army after serving in the Korean War. As a young adult, he moved to California where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and graduate degree in Architecture from USC. After 32 years as an architect designing hospitals, homes, and buildings throughout Southern California, he enjoyed retirement spending time with his family, gardening and playing an occasional slot machine.
A funeral service will be held,
February 28th at 10:00 a.m. at the Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim 92804.
