MIYAMOTO, Reiso "Ray", was born on February 1, 1923 and peacefully passed away on January 4, 2007, surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Suzie, the generous father of Kathy, Wesley (Marilyn) and Sheri and the proud Pops of Megan and Kevin. He is also survived by his sister Yemiko Okuda, sister-in-law Misato (Tad) Kajikawa, nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Pop enjoyed watching almost any type of sporting event. He was a longtime (and longsuffering) fan of the Angels and Clippers, and a devoted supporter of the UCLA Bruins.
He regularly volunteered at the Japanese American National Museum and valued his many friends there. He loved his garden and bonsai, "General Hospital" and his dog Zoe.
Our Pop was kind and giving and unbelievably patient.
Special thanks to Dr. Mickey Mellman.
