Private family services for the late Reiko Suzukawa, who peacefully passed away after a series of strokes, were held on June 29, 2006 at Konko Church of Gardena, with Rev. Nobuharu Uzunoe officiating.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jim Kazuo; daughter, Michiko Chiono; and sons Takaaki and Norio Suzukawa. She will be missed dearly by surviving sons, S. Steve (Jo Ann) Suzukawa and Kazumi (Terue) Suzukawa of Iwakuni, Japan; sisters, Masuyo Tanaka of Hawaii and Sachiko Hironaka of Japan; daughters-in-law, Emi Suzukawa and Sawako Suzukawa; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews in Hawaii and Japan.
